Before any certificate is issued, our team carefully reviews documentation and verifies that it aligns with authentic, demonstrable achievements. Technology-Assisted Credential Review In the interest of transparency, we want to share that we developed an all AI-powered credential review system internally under the guidance of certified Master Black Belts and credentialing experts. Our technology strictly follows validation standards from CSSC, ASQ, and IASSC, along with our own proprietary credential verification framework. No credential decisions are made solely by automated systems; human credentialing experts review and validate all outcomes. ⚠️ Important: This system is a support tool — it does not auto-approve certifications. All final decisions are made by our human credentialing team, which includes professionals with decades of military, corporate, and operational leadership experience. In-Person & Virtual Certifications For students enrolled in our live cohort programs (via Zoom or in person), the following criteria must be met: Completion of required coursework Passing score on the certification exam Project submission or case study (for Green Belt and above) Certificates are then issued within 3–5 business days of completion. Transparency Statement on Certifications Our Lean Six Sigma certifications (Yellow Belt, Green Belt, Black Belt, and Master Black Belt) are fully accredited by the Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC) — a globally recognized standard for Lean Six Sigma excellence. You can view our official CSSC accreditation here: Top of Descent Leadership Institute (CSSC) All other certifications — including those in Agile, Project Management, HR, Aviation, Cybersecurity, Excel, and Operations — are independently developed and issued by Top of Descent Leadership Institute. These certifications are grounded in industry best practices and are designed to validate practical, applied knowledge across specialized fields, but they are not affiliated with third-party organizations such as PMI®, Scrum Alliance®, SHRM®, Microsoft®, or CompTIA®. Our programs are built to certify what professionals can do — not just what they can memorize. Fast Track Certification by Portfolio Review Our Fast Track Program is designed for professionals who have already demonstrated excellence in leadership, management, or technical performance. Examples of Acceptable Evidence: -Military evaluations/awards -Civilian performance reports or awards -Proof of leadership, project oversight, or systems management Every submission is reviewed using our AI credential review system for consistency and by a human credentialing team for final approval. Submissions are reviewed by certified credentialing specialists. If approved, certifications are issued within 48–72 hours along with verifiable documentation and registry tracking numbers. Verification access We do not offer “pay-for-paper” certifications, and we only award credentials that have been earned and justified. Verification System Every certification includes a unique ID number tracked in our internal database. Ethical Standards and Certification Integrity -We do not issue “pay-for-paper” certifications. -All Fast Track awards are based on documented leadership, experience, or expertise. -All cohort or in-person certifications require real learning, assessments, and proof of mastery. -We do not bundle certifications without review. Each certificate must stand on its own merit. -We respect client privacy and maintain strict anti-forgery measures. Refund / Review PolicyOur refund policy exists to maintain fairness and uphold the value of every certification issued under the Top of Descent Leadership Institute name. Fast Track: If denied, applicant receives guidance or a refund. Live classes: Refunds available within 48 hours of payment, prior to class start.
